This course should be taught in every university, honestly, regardless of the major. It is discussing basic life skills to helping you build self-reliance (to trust yourself and find your own strengths), to learn how to network properly & build long-term professional and personal friendships for references, and how to navigate toxic people and deal with them. It emphasizes connectivity in a positive manner, making it clear that tackling tough situations alone isn't a requirement in life for proving your worth or strength, but it is a choice in life that can prevent you from reaching your true potential. The worksheet at the end is a great idea for you to write down/type your thoughts in a list format that can create clarity for you, too!
Tom's system of remembering and applying easy acronyms to situations is a brilliant methodology - it really helps you remember what to do when facing a difficult social & professional situation. Just remember the acronym and you have a ready solution to wading through the noise.
I highly recommend this course. I feel like it provided me some great insight into topics I hadn't previously considered in my professional and personal relationships - and in myself.
