This course is loaded with well-considered and excellently structured advice to aid you on your journey to self-discovery and achievement (read: cultivating your inner 'savvy' to ensure you are successful). It accomplishes this by dividing the lessons into three basic sections: how to improve the self, how to improve your circle/network, and how to create strong relationships with others once you've strengthened the self and your circle. It ensures the lessons are driven home as well with the use of clever mnemonic devices, easy quizzes at the end of each part, and reiteration techniques to ensure your retention of the material Tom Marcoux really knocks this one out of the park! I was able to take the lessons learned here and apply them to my career aspirations as well as in social settings with friends and family to expand my network and strengthen my relationships. For example, pre-framing conversations wasn't something I'd considered prior to this course, but now I am incorporating it when discussing my skill sets with recruiters. Preparing to win wasn't a mindset I typically took into every job interview, but now I see the power and confidence it imparts when I'm sitting across the table from an HR rep and telling them I'm their candidate of choice. Finding the value in good referrals, and not just relying on my resume's skills and education, is lending me the credibility I need to land jobs. I highly recommend this course. It's transformative!
